  1. Hi Sandra, I was a bit "surprised" to see my own tangle pattern Barbed renamed as Barbed Wire by Suzanne...(see your blogmessage of February 16th: Claudia Ijben has posted instructions to "Barbed". It's a pattern that uses alternating line directions to please the eye.)

  2. Claudia, I wish I could say that everyone reads my blog, but I suspect that someone like Suzanne avoids it, simply so she can't be accused of stealing someone's work!

With about 1300 patterns that I know of, I'm not surprised that more than one person ends up creating the same pattern. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.

  3. Hi Sandra, I'm sorry but I don't accuse Suzanne of stealing someone's work. I'm a great admirer of her work and even voted 5***** for her Texas litterbag design. You're right by saying that you are surprised that it doesn't happen more often....creating the same pattern as another Zentangle lover! :-) I think yesterday wasn't my best day... sorry for the misunderstanding.

  4. I think my response was more abrupt than I meant it to be, as well. That is one of the bad things about communicating this way. It's so easy to be sound different than you really mean to be.

I apologize, too, for any misunderstanding, and I hope I didn't make you feel bad in any way.

  5. Hi Sandra, no hard feelings at all! I agree that this is one of the bad things about communicating this way.
Hope I didn't make YOU feel bad in any way.
That was certainly not my intention. If I did, then I apologize. Have a nice weekend!

  6. Hi Sandra
The link to the pattern Diagonals appears to be broken.

    Regards
